Live reptiles and amphibians

Here, visitors can see examples of the venomous and nonvenomous snakes native to North Carolina, the largest Common Snapping Turtle ever found in the state, a Southeast Asian turtle that is among the world’s rarest species, colorful frogs and snakes of South American rainforests, and many more examples of fascinating reptiles and amphibians.
